Well, I'm glad to hear that at least the Fruit Chan episode of Chengdu, I Love You is good. I wonder if he has a feature version of it waiting in the wings.

You mean like Fruit Chan might want to distance himself from his co-director?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I can't say I'm surprised to hear that Cui Jian's piece doesn't look too good. Well, he did say he was going to 'tweak' it but he probably can't salvage it. Still, I suppose you have start directing somewhere, but perhaps he should have began a little less publicly...like with a real MV!
