“Film is the realest fantasy world. It is fiction, but it is the most realistic. The me in the film is fictional, but the work of acting makes me realistic. Typically, people do not think deeply about themselves, so they do not really know what they should do or who they are. It is different for an actor. You think about the role, and you develop reality."

  1. Hmm... might be interesting watching "Battle Royale" in 3D. One of my friends who loves Asian things says "that's the funniest movie ever!". :P

I barely recognized Betty Sun Li in that photo. She looked totally different in "Fearless" compared to her character in "Painted Skin".

I hope Jane Zhang had a nice time at the Grammy Awards; hopefully she will be nominated for a movie song down the road and perform as Coco Lee did for "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" at the Oscars someday.

Poor Selina. Hope she will continue to recover. :(

They went to the Grammys together last year, too. 2.3.2010

I don't care if she is nominated for the Oscars. I wonder if she will get less assignments now that she has left Huayi. Shang Wenjie is getting the gigs now, it seems.
