Damn you, China Lion! It looks like D.C. has been dropped from the list of cities that is getting a release of "Magic to Win" this Friday. Presumably, no future films either. New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and Vancouver remain on the island.

Regarding "Flowers of War"...Zhang is looking forward to a box office result of over 1.5 billion dollars.
He must be very confident since that would put his movie solidly the third place in the all-time international box office list, behind only "Avatar" and "Titanic" and ahead of all of the Harry Potter movies, all of the Pirates of the Caribbean entries and every animated film by Pixar, Disney and Dreamworks.
Assuming he means U.S. dollars...
The Chinese articles I've seen don't indicate a denomination, so I presumed it was in RMB/yuan.
But Box Office Mojo shows Avatar's overseas box office as US$2B, plus $750M in US, so dollars seem to fit.
