Benson Fong plays a clerk in Mr. Wong's Curio Shop. Boston Blackie and The Runt, his sidekick, try to solve the murder for which they are under suspicion. (The premise of the series is that reformed criminals Blackie and The Runt fall into situations that put them under the scrutiny of Inspector Farraday and the doltish Detective Sgt. Matthews.)

New "Christmas Rose" Stills [Roast Pork Sliced From A Rusty Cleaver] (飲水思源)
New stills of Guei Lun-Mei in Charlie Young's (Yeung Choi-Nei) "Christmas Rose" were released today. Guei Lun-Mei plays a disabled pianist who's sexually assaulted by a doctor.

Back in December I recorded Boston Blackie's Chinese Venture (1949), the final entry in the Boston Blackie series, one of a bunch of 60 minute B-films made by Columbia Pictures to fill out a multi-feature movie bill. Last night, I finally got around to watching it.
