CRI: Wen Zhang to Star in 3D Film 'On the Road'
Actor Wen Zhang will star in an urban romantic film that is said to be the first of its genre to be shot in 3-D.

A South Korean director will be in charge of this Sino-Korean co-production. A star-studded cast, including Huang Shengyi from China and Ji Jin-hee and Cha Su-yeon from South Korea, will join Wen in the film.


The film is slated for release on February 14, in time for the Valentine's Day slot.

Director Daniel Lee's latest historical epic movie "White Vengeance" released a batch of still photos featuring Leon Lai Ming in the run up of its release in November 29.

Theme song of the fantasy comedy "A Big Deal" was released today. The music video "Oh My Angel," performed by Qiao Renliang, featured all lead characters of the movie, including Lan Ching Lung, Chapman To and the singer himself.



The film's high earnings during its first-week run put director Teng Huatao on the shortlist of the "100 million club," following in the footsteps of small- and medium-size productions such as "Mysterious Island," "Buddha Mountain," "Eternal Moment" and "My Own Swordsman."

Ricky Hui passed away tonight

Hong Kong media is reporting that Ricky Hui died of a heart attack Tuesday night. He was found by an assistant at home lying in bed and not breathing. Ricky Hui was 65 years old. He joined the Shaw Brothers actors training course in 1971 along with his brothers. (Sina), 2

Director David Wu's latest sniper-themed film "Cold Steel" has had its new still photos released recently. The stills feature actor Peter Ho and actress Song Jia. In the film, they portray a couple of love birds.

Directed by Zhang Yang and starring Xu Huanshan, Wu Tianming and Li Bin, the film "One Flew over the Retirement Home" ("Fei Yue Lao Ren Yuan") is currently being filmed in Tianjin. On Saturday, the film's production team released a collection of still shots featuring mainland actor Chen Kun who makes a guest appearance as a doctor in the film.


Whilst serving time in the jail, Gao also wrote the theme song "Like a Dream" for his film "My Kingdom" which was released in September.

FBA: Village Roadshow Asia announces first titles
ZHANG Ziyi-starring My Lucky Star and Stephen CHOW-directed Journey To The West have been unveiled as the first two films to emerge from the new Village Roadshow Entertainment Group Asia company.

The inspiration behind "Dear Enemy" comes from Xu's discontent with her previous piece "Go Lala Go!", after she decided that she could do better in the genre of workplace romance...In order to ensure the quality of the film, Xu has cut out half of the commercials.

The Chopstick Brothers, including Wang Taili and Xiao Yang, are an up-and-coming duo in the filmmaking industry. Normally, they fully participate in their films by writing scripts, directing, singing and acting by themselves. Their first musical flick "Memoirs of Male Geisha" launched online in 2007, caused a great sensation among netizens and made a name for the duo.
The company behind the movie, "Lost in Panic Cruise", starring Alec Su and Yang Kun, recently released new promotional materials including posters that feature the depths of space. The blockbuster 'Lost in Panic Cruise' has already made 10 million yuan since its opening on October the 27th.
