White Deer Plain - Bejing Press Conference

(Sept.9) Director Wang Quan'an officially unveiled his cast for White Deer Plain. The casting surprise was Kitty Zhang Yuqi. Fan Bingbing, Hu Jing, Zhang Jingchu and Zhang Ziyi were among the actresses rumoured to be up for the role. Zhang Yuqi is a native of Shaanxi, as is Guo Tao, where the original novel is set. The rest of the cast is busy studying now.

Curse of the Deserted - Press Conference

(Aug.12) Producer Manfred Wong led the cast of Curse of the Deserted at the Beijing premiere press conference. The film is based on the same series of novels as his earlier film The Deserted Inn.
