Introducing Ge Si-Ran

Ge Si-ran will be seen in Zhang Jiarui's (Red River, The Road, Bride in Shangri-La) upcoming category III suspense thriller Lost City/Secrets of the Past (originally, Distant Thunder). Zhang Jingchu, a regular lead in Zhang's films, was initially cast but later replaced by Huo Siyan. Some reports say it was due to a dispute and falling out between the director and actress. Zhang Jingchu invoked the 'schedule conflict' as the reason.

Lost City also cut Huo Siyan's two minute nude scene reducing it down to 30 seconds. The film which won the Jury's Prize and this years Beijing Student Film Festival is screening at the Shanghai International Film Festival with an August general release. (Netease), (Sina)
