Belated thanks for the sampler! I was having some trouble playing the clips, so I gave up for a few days. I think their still getting a lot of traffic.
It was nice to become familiar with the Super Girl winners. I really like Shang Wenjie's voice.
And your description of Lin Yuchun still didn't prepare me for his version of Whitney Houston's song. Haha... that one took me by surprise!

Weirdly, I managed to view all those links. I must have been lucky. Anyway, I'm told the CCTV gala is now on YouTube (natch) but I haven't looked for it.
Not too familiar with Shang Wenjie except she was promoted for her French speaking ability, her college area of study, but later was blasted by netizens for her faux language abilities. Not sure where the truth lays. Also, Shang seems to go for Gaga-like styling/posing, so I wonder how serious she is about actually singing.
