CF: "Nightfall" to Hit Mainland Silver Screens on Mar. 15
Starring award-winning actors Simon Yam and Nick Cheung, the film weaves violence, suspense, and true love tightly together. In the film, the crazy cop (portrayed by Yam) tracks down the newly-released prisoner (portrayed by Cheung), who wants to seek revenge.

(Oct.7) Carina Lau and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai appeared in public together to stem rumours of marital discord. The occasion was Karmapa 900, celebrating the 900th anniversary of the birth of one of the major figures in Tibetan Buddhism, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The completion of one of those projects, Wong Kar Wai’s The Grandmasters, starring actress Zhang Ziyi (Memoirs of a Geisha), has been delayed until the fourth quarter.

In April the Hong Kong Film Archive's (HKFA) "Morning Matinee" will screen four Cantonese and one Mandarin film starring renowned Cantonese opera stars Yam Kim-fai, Fong Yim-fun, Sun Ma Si-tsang, Lam Kar-sing and film idols Connie Chan Po-chu, Josephine Siao Fong-fong, Patsy Kar Ling and Helen Ma.

According to this report of Faye Wong's first Hong Kong concert, Faye sang mainly in Cantonese, but also in Mandarin and English. As is typical, Faye spoke very little to the audience, not until 35 minutes into the first night's concert, she uttered only a brief 'Hello' and 'Thank you'.
