Xie Jin is an extremely popular director among the older generation of Chinese, with six of his films being voted Best Picture in the Hundred Flowers Awards. Xie Jin was always vigorous on set. He tirelessly kept on creating new films until his death in October 2008.

Little Wing Lee Street was plucked from relative obscurity and became a movie star in its own right.
TVB executive Virginia Lok Yi-ling yesterday admitted she has been asked by the ICAC to assist the probe.
Actress Tavia Yeung Yee and former Miss Hong Kong Shirley Yeung were also questioned by the ICAC over the weekend.
It was learnt that artistes who attended the Jade Singers Celebrate TVB Anniversary 2009 were only paid a symbolic sum ranging from HK$100 (S$18) to a few hundred dollars while the production company collected a large sum of money,Sing Tao Daily reported.
Sources told the daily that ICAC was also focusing its investigations on major functions of TVB including its anniversary celebrations and Miss Macau pageant.
Meanwhile, TVB has also withdrawn the plan to air its drama series ICAC Investigators 2007, scheduled for March 18, to avoid embarrassment.

Brammo's first product is the Enertia, a 100% fully-electric motorcycle built in Ashland, Oregon. It has been put on the market at select Best Buy stores since August 2009. The Enertia, priced in the United States at $7995, has a top speed of over 60 miles per hour (95 km/h), a range of 42 miles (68 kilometers) and a charging time of about 4 hours.
