CRI: "Big Deal" Starts Filming
The movie recounts a magnificent and crazy adventure of three young men, who pursue new directions in life. "The story themes on daily life and characters in the film are as normal as anyone you can see in real life. I believe the black humor in the film would delight the audience", said Ma Liwen. Zhao Wei will play two roles in "Underground Resistance" ("Shi Kong Di Dao"), a film that involves romance and time travel, the actress said Tuesday. (Xinhua-gallery)

The "Dark Knight" star will play a missionary working in 1930s Nanjing. The film "Jinling Shi San Chai" ("The Thirteen Women of Jinling"), is set in what was once the Chinese capital at the time of the Nanjing Massacre.
"Investors first and foremost think about the market, unlike Yimou, who is focused on art. We invited Bale to join because I am thinking about the market and because we want the world to better understand Chinese culture," the producer said. (THR)

Eva Jin Yimeng, writer and director of China’s 2009 smash hit Sophie’s Revenge, starring Zhang Ziyi, is in Los Angeles working on both a feature film script and a television pilot for two separate major Hollywood studios.

That's good news for Tang Wei. Some people need to get over those steamy scenes in "Lust Caution" and move on - she is very talented and pretty.

Also that's good news about Lin Chiling. I like hearing about wealthy people who are careful with their money. Too many times, you hear of athletes or musicians or lottery winners who are proof that "a fool and his money are soon parted".
