Earlier this month, the Chinese press reported that Xu Jiao's film career will, at least temporarily, be on hold as she relocates to the US to attend high school (in Chicago, living with a host family) and, eventually, university. While this might be the last film for the "Chinese Shirley Temple" (okay, I made that up - I think) for the near future, Xu Jiao (Josie Xu) told interviewers that she might consider scripts while she is living overseas. Another film with Xu Jiao, starring Vivian Hsu and Alan Kuo, "Rhythm of the Rain" will not be released until next year. (Sina)
