Berlin - Mabel Cheung discussed her next film, set in the 40's and 50's. It takes place during an era of chaos and involves people fleeing from Anhui to Shanghai and then from Shanghai to Hong Kong. In 2003, she made a documentary about Jackie Chan and his parents, Traces of a Dragon, with a similar theme. The new film, she said, is bigger than Echoes of the Rainbow and takes even more preparation time. Cheung has an actress in mind but did not reveal her name. She also said she hoped to get Simon Yam, too, if his schedule was compatible. (Sina)

Dou Xiao revealed that he is joining the cast of Zhang Yimou's 13 Flowers of Nanjing (13 Women of Jinling) and will play a Japanese soldier.
