How are Tony Leung Ka-Fai and Carina Lau nominated for Best Actor and Actress when their roles were essentially supporting ones? That seems odd to me.
I thought the Best New Director nomination for Felix Chong was interesting. Then I realized he's only co-directed with Alan Mak previously.
A pretty good year for (mostly) Hong Kong films, overall.
