Josie Ho strayed from a privileged family into acting, a job her elders viewed as “lower class”

Felix Wong
Felix Wong and Max Mok have been secretly practicing their horseback riding in preparation for a new action film (lit. Glory Days). The film will be directed by Eric Tsang and action directed by Xiong Xin-Xin. Reports from earlier in the spring indicated a superstar cast including Simon Yam, Anthony Wong, Francis Ng, Lam Suet, Zhang Jingchu and others. It remains to be seen whether this is accurate or just pre-production hype. (Sina), (Mtime)

The actress denied having marital woes and revealed that she might return to showbiz any time

Jennifer Tse next?

Yesterday, when asked by reporters if she was next to get married, Jennifer Tse said that she is ready and would not be a surprise if boyfriend Andy On proposed. She would, of course, accept.

In other related news, it was reported that Gigi had chosen to get married on the eve of her former lover Ekin Cheng's 44th birthday, so as to show him that she could get married before he does.
Another report claimed that Ekin and girlfriend Yoyo Mung will register for marriage in the US, in spring next year. That was why Gigi chose to get married suddenly.

Interestingly, while the statement warned the media about making claims that Lai and Lok's 3-year marriage is on the rocks, it did not mention anything about the condition of their relationship.
32-year-old Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, whom a number of media reports have claimed as being the woman who came between Lai and his wife, has also taken action to deal with the negative rumours about herself.

The newlyweds will reportedly spend their honeymoon in Europe and will stay in Germany for a while before relocating to London.
It is believed that Sonija will stay in Beijing with her husband and only return to Hong Kong, if she needs to work.

Maggie Lee's review of 1911 is spot-on. No wonder it felt so much like The Founding of a Republic/Beginning of the Great Revival--looks like it was written by the same guys, and not in a good way.

oh please oh please oh please let this happen!

Honestly, I wouldn't count on it. I'm pretty sceptical, myself.

No doubt not happening if they're already filming with Felix Wong. Plus Francis Ng is working with Jiang Wu on some expensive mainland drama right now so he's not available.

Thanks for the update, V.

Filming on Glory Days hasn't started yet. They're just practicing their horse-riding skills. Soon, though.
