Shawn Yue Man-lok's love of footwear is becoming so well known he is the city's go-to special guest at shoe launch events ranging from Nike's Air Jordans to Italian handcrafted shoes.
Last Thursday, Yue was the guest of honour at Italian shoemakers Salvatore Ferragamo's launch of their Tramezza shoe range.
Yue, who made a trip to Italy to visit the company headquarters earlier this year, was presented with a blue, customised version of the shoes while there.

It took a lot of work to make a pair of these shoes, Yue said, and the company proved it by bringing a craftsman all the way from Italy to set up shop at the mall and show, in summarised form, the 260 intricate steps that are required to put together a pair of Ferragamo leather shoes.
The mini shoe factory, along with Italian paintings collected by company chief executive Ferruccio Ferragamo - the eldest son of Salvatore - will be on display at IFC until Wednesday. (SCMP)
