Recently, famous Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi posed for a series of photos for Italian fashion magazine Muse. Muse used the striking phrase "China Girl" to describe the actress, symbolizing that Zhang is still the Chinese face most recognized by overseas media. (People's Daily)
"Symbolizing that Zhang is still the Chinese face most recognized by overseas media." That's exactly what I told one of my friends from Shanghai (who, like many Asians, doesn't think Zhang Ziyi is pretty and can't figure out why even ABC's like me like her so much). Even my Korean friends don't think she's that pretty. :(

It's either her or Bai Ling (The Chinese Charo!). :{
Is it just me, or did they apply the 'de-Asian-eyes' PS feature to her eyes in these photos?
Not sure about ZZ's eyes.
Bai Ling is the strangest woman from China. UGH, I hope people don't think she's representative of all Chinese women.
