Tracking Lam Suet Via Weibo

When we last left him, Lam Suet had just arrived in Guizhou. Was it a location change for the Thief/Pirate movie? No, it's a different film, apparently.

Lam Suet, Cheung Tat-Ming, Lam Tsz-Chung have assembled in Guizhou to film a lunar comedy (lit. God's Horses Are Clouds, a popular internet expression meaning 'Everything is of no consequence/Everything is nothing). Also in the cast are 'Crazy' film regulars Ba Duo, Wang Xun, and Yue Xiaojun. The film is being directed by Tao Mingxi. Tao Mingxi is a former national martial arts competitor and television actor and action director.

Lam Suet recently posted openly on his Weibo asking Jordan Chan to contact his manager as the director wants to invite Jordan to join the cast. Lam Suet said that he had forwarded the script to him in Hong Kong.

The film investors in the joint production hope to also promote local tourism and its ancient tea plants in Puding County, Guizhou.

Good to see Lam Suet & Lam Tze-Chung in a movie together. Now all we need is Kent "Fatty" Cheng and Ng Man-Tat.

They all seem to be working 'up North', so it's a possibility. :D
