Wu Xia - Beijing Premiere Press Conference
Peter Chan told the press that he drew inspiration from American TV series "CSI" and "House" and the David Cronenberg film "A History of Violence". Peter Chan rated Tang Wei's performance a "100". Donnie Yen also praised her. Yen said that Tang Wei is very professional. She is not as tall as Lynn Hung (his Ip Man wife) but her performance is a little bit better. Takeshi Kaneshiro said that it was idea to speak in Sichuan dialect but when spoke at first, it was unintelligible.
