Solid fighting vies with sensationalist plotting in this uneven period action drama.

CF: Cast Revealed for Lu Chuan's New Film
Actress Du Juan, who trounced 10,000 competitors to take on the role, was negatively received after making her first appearance in front of the media.
The reporters said that as she would be playing one of the most beautiful women in ancient Chinese history, the 20 year-old actress was not pretty enough for the character. But the director said differently.

FBA: Huayi expands film to TV
The company has announced series based on box office hits If You are the One (2008) and Aftershock  directed by Feng Xiaogang, a major shareholder in the company.
