3.2.2011 - News

Lau said he was barely spending any time in Hong Kong these days, instead busy belting out his hits for mainland fans and capitalizing on his stardom among entertainment-hungry Chinese audiences that accounted for a total box office of $1.55 billion last year. Lau has been the front man for most Chinese blockbusters in recent years, most recently a remake of the kung fu classic "Shaolin" and the fantasy-mystery "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame."
Ann Hui is one of the local directors who has sort of fallen by the wayside amid the rise of big-budget Chinese productions. She excels in Hong Kong-set family and domestic dramas that win critical acclaim, but struggles to find viewers on the mainland.

Dee Hsu tickles fans with bathroom photo

Cool pic!

I've been in some small bathrooms before, but that one takes the prize.

What's the photo doesn't show is the shower head above the toilet. ;p

Reminds me of some campgrounds I've stayed at.

I showed "Ip Man" The Legend Begins" to a friend of mine and she said, "Huang Yi's nose is big" (I wanted to say, "I like her nose", but that would have started an argument! She didn't even think Kitty Zhang Yuqi was pretty in "Jump" until she wore makeup!).

I like those photos of Gao Yuanyuan - very clean and pretty!

Re: Dee Hsu's photo - I've stayed in a place in Taiwan where the stalls were so small, your feet would stick out through the bottom of doors when you sat on the toilet!

Lots of bathrooms in East Asia have a showerhead smack in the middle of the bathroom - I've seen them in S. Korea and Mainland China (one of my coworkers said he's seen them in Thailand too). No shower curtains, so EVERYTHING gets wet when someone takes a shower! :)

That's too funny.

Huang Yi reminds me of Betty Loh Ti every so often.
"Huang Yi's nose is big"
I guess that means she hasn't resorted to a nose job, then. :D
